Robert S. Lipman
President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Robert has worked in this family business since 1973, after graduating from the University of Kentucky. In 1988, Robert purchased Lipman Brothers, Inc., from his family members to become the company's sole owner. In 1995, he founded R.S. Lipman in order to expand into the non-alcoholic and beer sectors of the beverage industry.
Robert's career spans over 35 years in the beverage industry, and he is a former chairman and president of Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA). In April of 2008, Robert was honored by WSWA with the Lifetime Achievement Award. He presently serves on the boards of WSWA, SunTrust Bank (Nashville), eSkye Solutions, Inc., Nashville Alliance for Public Education, Nashville Polo Club (president), Taigan,LLC, and the Blake McMeans Foundation. Additionally, Robert is affiliated with numerous civic organizations in the Nashville area. Robert was honored by CommunityNashville as a 2008 Human Relations Award recipient.

Richard Thibus
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Richard joined Lipman in 1983. In his years with Lipman, he also served as Sales Manager and Vice President. Richard has over 35 years experience in the wine and spirits industry, including prior employment with Taylor Wine Company. He attended Georgia State University, and served in the U.S. Army.

Greg Naiser
Director of Sales – Spirits, Cigars & Riedel Crystal
Greg has worked at Lipman since 1997. He brings over 25 years of wine and spirits experience to the team, including prior employment with Brown-Forman, Glenmore Distilleries, United Distillers Glenmore, and Athens Distributing Company. Greg received a BA degree from Centre College in Danville, KY.

Jason has been with Lipman since 2001. He has over 15 years experience
in the wholesale wine and spirits industry, with over 8 years of restaurant
experience. Jason graduated from the University of Iowa.

Pat Kerrigan
Director of Sales — Wine
Pat originally joined Lipman in 1985 and worked in many capacities including wine sales manager before leaving to join Pacific Southern Wine Company in 1999 as regional sales manager, covering the southeast United States for multiple wineries. After 12 years of working as a supplier he rejoined Lipman Brothers as Director of Sales in October of 2010. Pat attended Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN.

Elaine Roberts
Controller
Elaine Roberts joined Lipman in March 2007. Elaine has over 20 years of experience from various accounting roles throughout her career, including prior employment with Mephisto USA and TDS Telecom. She has an accounting degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Stefan Banks
Assistant to the President
Stefan was named assistant to Lipman Brothers' president, Robert Lipman, in March of 2012. Previously, Stefan held a management position with MAPCO Express where he was selected to participate in the Leadership Development Program. From 2003-2008, Stefan served in the United States Army as part of the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). He was a Medical Sergeant and was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management with a master’s degree in Business Administration, Stefan also holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.

Lowell Goldman
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Lowell oversees operations for Lipman Brothers’ Middle Tennessee, Chattanooga and Knoxville regions. Prior to joining the company in 2012, Lowell was a District Manager at MAPCO Express and a member of the Fast Track Leadership Development program. He served in the United States Army from 2000-2008, achieving the rank of Captain. While in the Army he served tours of duty in Afghanistan, Iraq and South Korea with the Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). Lowell received a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He graduated from the United States Military Academy where he earned a B.S. in Foreign Languages.
